The Grief Recovery Method® Group Program is a structured, 8-week experience which creates a safe environment in which to look at old, unhelpful beliefs about dealing with loss and to take recovery actions which lead to completion of the pain attached to bereavement. There are 3 separate 8 week sessions that take place at Martin Brothers Funeral Chapel each year, typically in the Fall, Winter and Spring. These groups are led by Grief Recovery Method Specialists and Martin Brothers’ staff, Brian Magee and Lorri Penner RSW. Brian and Lorri are trained and certified by the Grief Recovery Institute®. Due to recent health concerns surrounding COVID-19 the Grief Recovery Programs have restricted to a limited number of participants, please call us at 403.328.2361 for more information.
