Emily Catherine Yorgason

1925 ~ 2018

Mrs. Emily Catherine Yorgason, beloved wife of the late Mr. Doyle Yorgason, passed away at Cedar Creek Care Home in Lethbridge, AB on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the age of 92 years.

Emily was born in Lethbridge, Alberta on June 12, 1925 in the Van Harlem Nursing Home, obtained her education in Lethbridge and was a life member of St. Augustine’s Anglican Church. She was a Past Matron of the Maple Leaf Chapter No. 7 O.E.S. and a Past Honoured Royal Lady of the Order of the Royal Purple. She was a member for over 50 years in both organizations.

Emily is survived by her son Douglas Allan, of Chilliwack, B.C; her sister Margaret Susannah Van Lueken of Edmonton, AB; and her sister’s two daughters and their families. She will also be remembered by a special friend April Arsene and several nieces and nephews.

Emily was predeceased by her parents Edgar and Ina Catherine Davis; her husband Doyle Delyle in 1999 and a son David Roy in 2002.

A Private Family Service will be held with Interment in the Mountain View Cemetery.
