Mr. Robert John Weir passed away on June 23, 2018, on what would have been his 73rd birthday.
He was raised on a farm at Fort Macleod, AB, which explains his love of all things cowboy, or why you would rarely seem him without his cowboy hat and boots, or a Louis L'Amour book.
Following high school he joined the RCMP and was stationed in Ottawa. He returned to Southern Alberta and joined the Lethbridge City Police Force in 1967 and would serve until retiring in 1996.
Rob leaves behind his wife Suzanne, sons Shawn and Jordan (Erik); daughter Kimberley (Scott); and grandchildren Morrigan, and his brand new grandson Grayden who was born on June 23rd. He is also survived by his sister Shirley (Les - deceased), and brother David (Caroline), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation entrusted to Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels.
