WILLIAM (BILL) EDWARD WEBB, 80, formerly of Victoria, BC went to be with the Lord on February 18, 2011 in Lethbridge Alberta. He went peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his family. Bill was born October 28, 1930 in Victoria BC, the youngest of 14 siblings. On December 30, 1981 he married Pat, and they resided in Victoria for the past 29 years. They moved to Lethbridge 10 months ago to be closer to family.

Bill worked all his life as an insulator and roofer. He retired in 1995 and was made an honorary member of Heat and Frost Insulators. He loved gardening and carpentry and was always building a new project for the garden including a beautiful gazebo. After retiring Bill always wanted to drive across Canada and he and his wife Pat drove the journey in 3 weeks. Bill enjoyed fishing and camping with Pat and taking their boat out for the big salmon runs on the coast of Vancouver Island. They also shared their joy of golfing, Bill having the honor of a hole in one four times. They enjoyed many cruises and loved to travel. Bill will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife Pat, his sisters Mae, Laura (Austy), and Jean, his children Steve, Brenda (Richard), Jacquie (Dave) his grandchildren, Julien, Justin, Jennifer (Jeff), Daja (Graeme), Ariel (Jaime), Aaron (Kati), his great grandchildren, Andrea, Emily, Jake and Shayla, also numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held in Victoria on March 19, 2011 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, at McCall Brothers Funeral Home, 1400 Vancouver St., Victoria BC. Refreshments to follow.

Internment at Royal Oak Cemetery Garden of Remembrance.
