MR. KENNETH GEORGE JOHN VEALS of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Helen, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at the age of 82 years.

Ken joined the RCMP in 1950 and was stationed in several cities throughout Alberta. He retired from the RCMP in 1975. After retirement he was employed by PCL Construction as a Safety Coordinator for several years. Ken enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing cards, and was a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion.

Besides his loving wife Helen, Ken is survived by his daughters Linda Cook (Mike Burla), Carol Veals (Todd Takeyasu), Kathy (Guy) Simon; grandchildren Jeremy Paul, Crystal Paul, Bryanne Cook, Kyle Simon, Adrianne Simon; great-grandchildren Myiah and Braxton; sister Joyce (Danny) Caton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Ken was predeceased by his parents Lillian and William Veals of Tring, England.

Ken will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
