Vivian Mary Trofanenko 1924 ~ 2014 Mrs. Vivian Mary Trofanenko, beloved wife of the late Mr. Michael Trofanenko, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at the age of 90 years. Vivian was born to Veva and Edwin Johnson. She was raised near Turin, Alberta and attended Normal School during WWII to become a teacher. She taught in Chauvin, AB and Medicine Hat, AB, before marrying Mike Trofanenko, also of Turin, AB in 1949. While raising four children she drove school bus and was a substitute teacher. She loved music, gardening, her many pets, baking and most of all, helping people. Vivian is survived by her two daughters Gail (Silvano) and Lori; her two sons Lorne (Dena) and Daryll; grandchildren Lisa (Shawn), Pamela, Anthony (Jacqueline), Michael, Tanya, Jesse (Aundria); great-grandchildren Alexandria, Alexander, Tristen, Kian, Jaxon, Keslar, Ethan, Wyatt and Owen. She was predeceased by her husband, Mike, her brother Richard, and two grandchildren, Zachary and Cody. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, September 19, 2014 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge with Reverend Aldeen McKay, officiating. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may join the family one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow the Funeral Service at the Archmount Cemetery.
