It is with overwhelming sadness that the family announces the passing of LARRY N. TAMAKI JR. at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada on Thursday, June 7, 2007. Larry was born on August 18, 1975 in Lethbridge, Alberta and received his education at St. Mary's School, St. Francis School and Catholic Central High School in Lethbridge. Larry had been living in Las Vegas for the past twelve years where he was a journeyman electrician, an instructor and a member/brother of the IBEW #357. Larry enjoyed his work, especially the years he spent teaching and the great friends that he made. He enjoyed his weekends riding his ""chopper"", hanging out with his dog Tori, four-wheeling in the desert and spending time out at Lake Mead.

Larry was predeceased by his grandparents Michigoro and Tomiko Tamaki and Marian Najda.

Larry leaves to mourn his passing, his parents Linda and Larry Tamaki Sr.; sister Jody (Mike) Pontillo; brother Travis Tamaki, grandmother Jenny Najda; aunts and uncles, Henry (Debbie) Najda, Joanne (Jim) Parkinson, Helen (Brian) Murkin, Koji Tamaki, Tammie Asuchak, Jack (Shirley) Tamaki; cousins Nathan Najda, Matthew and Nicholas Parkinson, Stacey and Gerard Sherry, Amy, Jamey and Tim Tamaki and Shaun Tamaki; best friend Noel Johnson; as well as numerous great aunts and uncles across Canada.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at ST. BASIL'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604 - 13 Street North, Lethbridge, with Deacon Frank Peta officiating.
