MRS. HELEN SINCLAIR of Turin, Alberta passed away at St. Michaels Health Care Centre after a lengthy battle with cancer on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at the age of 95 years.

Born in Lethbridge, and raised on Walter Neil Sinclair homestead in Turin, Alberta, Helen attended the Gold Ridge School. After meeting her future husband Gordon, Helen moved into the village in Turin where they worked together as janitor's at the school until it's closure in 1975.

Helen enjoyed many activities from travelling to Santa Antia, California with her children every year to attend the horse races, to finding races to go to here in Alberta. She loved traveling, curling, but above all, Helen especially loved her time spent with her precious family.

Helen is survived by her sons Marvin, and Warren of Turin, and Larry of Calgary; grandchildren Kari (Mark) McAndrew, Gregory (Sonia) Sinclair and Kristy (Allan) Hennessey of Calgary; sister Lucy (Thomas) Pashak of Calgary; brothers Tony (Carol) Trofanenko of Coalhurst and Andy (Faye) Trofanenko of Calgary as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Besides her loving husband Gordon Sinclair (May 14, 1978), Helen was predeceased by her parents Anthony (August 17, 1978) and Maria (October 14, 1975) Trofanenko; brothers Mike (September 21, 1984), Bill (July 10, 1943), John (March 4, 1994) and Fred (July 12,1984); sisters Lela Dickson (September 28, 2000) and Ann Tackaberry (February 4,2008).

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00PM, on Tuesday, January 27, 2009, at the MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 St., S., Lethbridge, AB, with Reverend Glenda Wert officiating.
