ANNE SCHULTZ (SIEBERT), beloved wife of Richard Schultz went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She fought a courageous battle with cancer from spring of 1993 to 2009.

Anne was born in Coaldale, Alberta on March 21, 1931 to Peter and Susanna Siebert. She accepted the Lord as her personal Saviour as a teen and was baptized on the confession of her faith on June 19, 1949. After Bible school she took the nursing aid course in Calgary. A few years later she went to Vancouver and completed her high school. Then she went to Winnipeg where she completed her three year nursing course earning her the degree of registered nurse. She went on to use her nursing skills in Nebraska as well as Denver, Colorado. She returned to Alberta and while nursing in Hanna she met Richard and they were married in Coaldale in 1967. In 1969 they started farming and this is where their three children were born. As her husband's health declined with Multiple Sclerosis they moved to an acreage in Purple Springs and later to Taber. In 1993 while in Purple Springs she discovered she had cancer which had metastasized to the lymph nodes but God was gracious. They have lived in Lethbridge since 1998.

Mom was always caring for others even though she was struggling with her health. She read her bible everyday and had a very committed faith in the Lord. She never forgot a birthday. She was a wonderful sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Anne was predeceased by her parents Peter and Susanna Siebert; brothers Peter, Dave, Jake and sister Tina, as well as son-in-law Dave Courts.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Richard; daughter Patricia (Courts) Bydevaate (Joe), Chelsea and, Jeff Courts, Tracy and Alicia Bydevaate; sons Wes (Anna) and Kassidi Schultz, Ed Schultz; sisters Mary, Sue, Nettie, Helen, Lydia; brothers John and Henry as well as a host of relatives and friends.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 6:00pm and 8:00pm, on Friday, February 13, 2009, at the MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 St., S., Lethbridge, AB.

A Graveside Service will be held at 12:30pm, at the COALDALE CEMETERY Mennonite Section, Coaldale, Alberta.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm, on Saturday, February 14, 2009, at the EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH, 4717 - 24 Ave., S., Lethbridge, AB, with Pastor Dave Acree officiating.
