MRS. SADIE KATHRYN GOW of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Howard Gow, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2008, four days after her 94th birthday.

Sadie was born on September 18, 1914 in Bellevue, AB. She was raised and educated in Blairmore, AB. She received her RN status in 1934 from the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton. In 1940 she married Howard Gow and they shared 60 wonderful years together before his passing in 2001. Sadie was a member of the Elks Club, Miners Library and a past member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion. Her hobbies included curling, darts and bowling.

Sadie is survived by her two daughters Fran (Bill) Jones of Calgary and Carolyn (Doug) Cooper of Medicine Hat; three grandchildren Darryl Jones, Deanne (Steve) Sims all of Calgary and Sherry (Dean) Kling of Lethbridge; two great-granddaughters Leah and Megan Kling of Lethbridge; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Besides her beloved husband Howard, Sadie was predeceased by her parents Matt and Hannah Jarvi and two sisters Martha Douglas and Avery ""Babe"" Simpson.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30pm on Friday, September 26, 2008 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge, with Reverend Elizabeth Brown, officiating. Interment to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.
