MR. MARCEL PAUL MARIE RONCERAY of Lethbridge beloved husband of Helen Ronceray, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital surrounded by his family on Saturday, May 31, 2008, at the age of 86 years.

Marcel was born on March 17, 1922 on the family farm in Lafleche, SK. He was the youngest of nine children, and grew up on a farm at Val Marie, Sk. When Marcel was five he lost his mother and was raised by his Dad, brothers and sisters.

Marcel, after WWII went to work as a long shore man in Vancouver, B.C. that is where he met his wife, Helen and they moved to Lethbridge, where Marcel went in to business with Roy Nadeau as a floor finisher. Marcel then moved to Winnipeg, Man for a short time before returning to Lethbridge. In the spring of '54, he purchased land in Grassy Lake and farmed there, till 2005 when Marcel and Helen moved back to Lethbridge. He loved all his cows, to which all had names along with all the other animals. He was especially fond of his Grand-dog Spud, who made daily trips across the yard for snacks with Grampa.

Besides his loving wife Helen, Marcel is survived by his children; JoAnne and her children Shawn, Scott (Leslie), Bryan (Jenn), Bradley Wensmann, Albert Ronceray, Paulette (Gord) and their children Ashley and Felicia Fletcher; great-grandchildren Aiden and Conner Wensmann; sisters Julie Barton and Madeline Gagnon.

A Visitation will be held from 7PM to 8PM on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4th St. S., Lethbridge, AB.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10AM., on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at OUR LADY OF ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405-12th Ave. S., Lethbridge, AB, with Father Tim Boyle, celebrant.
