December 28, 1951 - January 23, 2011

MR. GARY JOHN ROHALY of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Sharon Rohaly, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at the age of 59 years.

Gary was born in Lethbridge and had his schooling in the Lethbridge and Calgary area. 38 years ago, he married his best friend and love of his life Sharon Rohaly (Peto). Together they raised their two children, daughter Renee and son Jeremy.

Gary owned and operated G&S Painting and Sandblasting for the past 29 years. He worked everyday alongside his son Jeremy. Gary was an avid fisherman and camper and he loved his old cars, but his first and most important passion was spending time with his grandkids. He and Sharon also travelled every February to Mexico for their annual family vacation. This trip grew to be one of his most treasured times with his family and close friends. Gary has always had a great sense of humour and a huge boisterous laugh that could be heard for miles. He was an amazing cook, he loved to barbeque, and to use a variety of ingredients from different countries. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends and everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him.

Gary is survived by his loving wife Sharon, his daughter Renee, Steve, his son Jeremy (Jennifer), grandchildren; Shayla, Cole, Logan, and a new grandbaby due in March.

A Celebration of Gary's life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 28, 2011 at the COLLEGE DRIVE COMMUNITY CHURCH, 2710 College Drive South, Lethbridge, with Deacon Cliff Bogdan, officiating.
