It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Anna Rogan who passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 20, 2021, at St. Therese Villa at the age of 87 years.

Anna was born in Kuzma, Slovenia on July 6, 1934, to Stefan and Marija Zrim. She was a beloved wife, mother, aunt, and friend who had strong faith in God which guided her through life’s journey. Anna enjoyed cooking and baking and tending her rose garden.

Anna will be greatly missed by her beloved husband Ernest; sister Terezija Sukič in Slovenia; sister-in-law Emilia Zrim in Lethbridge, and various nieces, nephews, and cousins in Slovenia, Austria, and Lethbridge.

Anna is predeceased by her parents Stefan and Marija; son Dr. Ernest Rogan and his wife Anne; sister Marija; brother Stefan; two brother in-laws Alojz and Feri, and her nephew Stanko; as well as aunts and uncles.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am, on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405 12 Ave S, Lethbridge, AB, with Father Kevin Tumback celebrant. Interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
