Kurtis Reynolds

Official Obituary of

13/8/1976 - to - 13/3/2010

KURTIS DEAN REYNOLDS of Strathmore (previously of Taber), beloved husband of Shannon Reynolds, and devoted father to Kadin and Kole, passed away suddenly in Revelstoke, on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the age of 33 years.

Kurtis Reynolds was born in Lethbridge, Alberta on August 13, 1976. Kurtis fell in love with Shannon Wolskyj during their September long weekend camping trip in 1994. From then on they were absolutely inseparable. After graduating from Coalhurst High School, Kurtis and Shannon moved to Taber where they started their life together. Kurtis found his passion in the oil rig moving industry during this time. Kurtis’ drive and hard work landed him in positions that most people don’t achieve until later in their lives.

Kurtis just recently found his hobby that he enjoyed; mudbogging in his Rhino while camping with his family and close friends.

Kurtis and Shay had a bond like brothers. They were first and foremost friends as well as business partners.

Besides his loving wife Shannon, Kurtis leaves behind his two sons Kadin and Kole; father Bill (Cindy) Reynolds; mother Georgina (Kelley Murphy) Buzunis; sisters Serena (James) Wesley; Sandy (Rusty) Regier; nieces Apryl Regier, Ashton Wesley; nephews Brendan Wesley, Ashton Wolskyj, Matt Regier; grandmother Helen Buzunis; mother-in-law Linda Wolskyj; brother-in-law Shane Wolskyj; special uncle, friend, and mentor Klaus (Deb) Santrau; as well as many extended family, friends and their families.

Kurtis was predeceased by his grandmother Bernice Primrose; and grandfathers George Buzunis and Albert Reynolds.
