DAGMAR REICH beloved wife of the late Edward Reich, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2011 at the age of 84.

Dagmar is survived by her children Erika (Alex) Ress and Thomas Reich; grandchildren Robert (Brianne) Ress, Jackie (Jerry) Ress and Jessica (Nathan) Ress; great-grandson Logan Ress (Robert and Brianne); sister Sophie Proehl and all of her nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Edward; parents Herta and Oscar Wust; sister Lydia Cook; brother-in-laws Adolf Proehl and Sam Cook, and granddaughter Jennifer Ress.

Dagmar her fiancé, sisters and parents immigrated to Canada in 1951, landing in Halifax. They then made their way to Alberta. Dagmar soon after married her sweetheart and they started their family.

Dagmar had great love for the Lord and her family and always put everyone before herself. She loved her garden which she took great pride in and making sure no weeds ever got passed the surface. When you went to visit Dagmar, you never left hungry. She always managed to make you eat something that she cooked or baked.

Her family would like to thank the nurses and doctors on 4B at the Chinook Regional Hospital for the attention and support given to Dagmar while in their care.

A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00pm on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at the MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am, on Monday, April 4, 2011 at the IMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 20 Rocky Mountain Blvd. West, Lethbridge, Alberta, with Pastor Nathan Fuehrer, officiating. Interment will take place in the Mountain View Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dagmar's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, Box 2211, Lethbridge, Alberta, T1J 4K7, or to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 204, 2323 - 32 Avenue NE, Calgary, Alberta, T2E 6Z3.
