Mrs. Emma Poehlmann of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Walter Poehlmann, passed away at St. Marguerite Manor in Calgary on Friday, November 12, 2021 at the age of 94 years.
Emma is survived by her son Manfred (Marilyn) Poehlmann; daughter Sieglinda (Harald) Schmiegelt; sister Adeline Kunst; brother-in-law Alfred Reuter; grandchildren Adam Schmiegelt, Robin (Wade) McKeeman, Theresa (Chris) Yauck, Cheryl (Chad) Paterson; great-grandchildren Devin Kenna, Emma McKeeman, Levi McKeeman, Angela Hironaka-Yauck, Julia Lennox, Alexia Paterson, Aries Paterson and Dominick Yauck.
Besides her loving husband Walter, Emma was pre-deceased by her parents Johann and Elisabeth Jung; son Hans Walter; sister Lisa Reuter; brother-in-law Frederick Kunst and granddaughter Tracy Lee Poehlmann.
The family would like to thank Dr. Murcuur and nursing staff at St. Marguerite Manor for their compassion and care.
A Private family funeral service will be held, with burial to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.
