Mr. Bjarne Pederson of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Ethel May Pederson, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, September 5, 2022 at the age of 100 years.
Bjarne was born in Varhaug, Norway on July 6, 1922 to make up a family of eleven brothers and sisters of which he is the last one to pass.
He is survived by his wife Ethel; stepchildren Darlene (Bill) Heinen, Brian Sakatch; grandchildren Bart Heinen, Shannon (Jason Ciciarelli) Papp, John Sakatch, Jessica (Jason) Durand; great-grandchildren Haden Papp, Deklan Ciciarelli, Rowan Ciciarelli, Melissa Durand, Zachary Durand, Riley Durand; Canadian nieces and nephews and their respective families also with family residing in Norway and the United States.
Bjarne was predeceased by his parents, ten brothers and sisters; stepson Melvin and great-grandson Danny.
Family and Friends are invited to pay their respects at 10:00am on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Martin Brothers Riverview Chapel, 610, 4 STREET SOUTH, Lethbridge, Alberta.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, September 12, 2022 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta with burial to follow in the Enchant Cemetery.
