David Paulsen

1951 ~ 2017

Mr. David Richard Paulsen of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Darlene Paulsen passed away suddenly on Wednesday April 19, 2017 at the age of 65 years.

David was born in Cranbrook, BC on November 22, 1951 and was raised in Penticton and Jaffray, BC. On March 10, 1978, he met Darlene and Candace. On June 12, 1979, he started working in the Fording Coal mine, where he worked until his passing. On June 27, 1979, he married Darlene and moved to the Crowsnest Pass in 1980, where he lived until 2003, and then moved to Lethbridge. His son Ryan was born on March 7, 1983.

Beyond his family, he loved his coffee, books, pens, movies and playing games. He loved his grandchildren dearly as well as his cats and grand cats.

Besides his loving wife Darlene, he is survived by his mother Ann Paulsen; daughter Candace (Chris) Larson; son Ryan (Pam) Paulsen; grandchildren Matthew Larson and Ashley Paulsen; sister Cathy Pierzchala; 3 brothers Andrew, Ray and Jeff Paulsen.

He was predeceased by his father Fred Paulsen; brother Michael Paulsen and nephew Gordy Paulsen.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 12:00-1:00pm on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, T1J 4P3. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL.
