George William Douglas Paul
August 31, 1948 - June 1, 2010

DOUG, beloved husband and best friend of Diane, passed away on June 1, 2010.

He is fondly remembered by his sister, Heather (Ken) Agrell-Smith, brother Rob, and their families, as well as Diane's family, Rody Rogers, Tom (Brenda), Roberta, Bob, and Stuart (Paula) and her nieces and nephews. Doug is also survived by a daughter, Cassandra Paul.

Doug began his career in banking at the age of 21 with RBC. Throughout his 35 years with RBC, he had the opportunity to work in a wide spectrum of roles, touching many employees and clients. After retiring from banking, he continued to follow his passion, the oil and gas industry, providing guidance to emerging and developing companies within the industry.

All those who spent time with Doug will miss his insightful mind, quiet mentoring, quick wit, and thoughtful ways.

A special thanks to Doctors Wilde, Wong, and Benke, and the dedicated ICU staff of the Chinook Regional Hospital.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge, AB with Cindy Combs, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Caring Hearts Tribute Fund for the ICU at the Chinook Regional Hospital, 960-19th St. S., Lethbridge, AB, T1J 1W5.
