Mrs. Michelle Neben of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Mr. Peter Neben, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at the age of 49 years.

Michelle was born in England on October 30, 1969 and moved to Canada in 1976 with her family.  She grew up in Sparwood B.C where she met her husband Peter. She held various positions at Teck Coal during her 20-year tenure. She especially enjoyed her time on the blast crew. Michelle loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.  She loved to travel, and she loved to laugh and make others laugh.

Michelle leaves behind her husband Peter; her children Andrew (Chelsie), Stephanie (Scott) and Jennifer (Marco); grandchildren , Kaeden, Brady, Carter, and Alivia; parents Linda and Joe Smith; mother in law Christel Neben; brothers Gary (Korina) and Stuart; nephews, Brock and Brandon, and numerous aunts and uncles.

Michelle will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her.  We love you mom.

At Michelle’s request, there will be no formal Funeral Service.

A Celebration honoring Michelle’s life will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at the SPARWOOD RECREATION CENTRE, 367 PINE AVENUE, Sparwood, B.C VOB 2G0.
