Evert Mulder

1931 ~ 2017

With sadness, we announce the passing of our dear father, grand & great grandfather, Evert Mulder at the age of 86 years, beloved husband of the late Brandina, on December 27, 2017 at the Bethesda Care Home in Picture Butte.

Dad was born on February 7, 1931 in the Netherlands. He immigrated to Canada in 1968.

Dad is survived by his dear children Wilma (Willard) Leeuwenburgh, Ed (Marion) Mulder, Woutera (Roy) Vanden Brink; 12 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; step children Elbert (Anneke) Beekman, Coby Vande Ridder (the late Otto), Gerrit (Hetty) Beekman & the late Willy (Jan) Klomp with their children & grandchildren. Evert is also survived by his sister Jannie (Willem), & sister-in-law Paula of the Netherlands.

He was predeceased by two sisters; one brother; one brother-in-law and four grandchildren.

An opportunity for Condolences will be held between 7:30pm – 8:30pm on Friday, December 29, 2017 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30pm on Saturday, December 30, 2017 in the Netherlands Reformed Congregation of Picture Butte, 601 - 3 A Street South, Picture Butte, with Rev. A.A. Brugge officiating.

Interment to follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
