Mr. Jeffrey Morrison of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Joyce Morrison, passed away suddenly on August 11, 2011 at the age of 63 years.

Besides his loving wife, Jeff is survived by his daughter Ashley (Andrew) Wormsbecker of Edmonton; mother Lorette Lazuka of Benton City, Washington; sister Vicki (Bill) Brady of Benton City, Washington; brother Steve (Barb) Morrison of Penticton; as well as numerous brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews and their families.

Jeff was predeceased by his father Murray Morrison of Vancouver as well as his mother and father-in-law, Elizabeth and Harry Holobiski.

Jeff was born in Vancouver, British Columbia on May 12, 1948 and was the eldest of three children. He attended school in Vancouver and began his career there with Gainers Meats before transferring to Edmonton and then onto Calgary where he met and married Joyce. In 1982 the pair relocated to Lethbridge and in 1986 their daughter was born. Jeff was employed at H & R Transport at the time of his passing and had been employed with the company for 17 years.

Jeff thoroughly enjoyed cooking, whether it was for fun or necessity. He loved to read and was a constant learner. Jeff shone most when he bestowed his knowledge onto others. He was an avid sports fan and in years passed he bowled and curled recreationally. He took great pride in watching his nephew Darryl develop into a superb hockey player. Jeff attended all of his daughter's sporting events over the years without fail.

We will deeply miss Jeff's unmatched devotion for the things he cherished most. His kind-hearted, selfless, loving nature will be treasured in our hearts forever.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4th Street South, Lethbridge.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations in Jeff's name to the Ronald McDonald House of Southern Alberta, 111 West Campus Place NW, Calgary AB Canada, T3B 2R6.
