MR. ROSS MIRON of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Adeline Miron, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 7, 2009 at the age of 80 years.
Ross is survived by Adeline, his loving wife of 58 years and by his three children; Michael (Constance) Miron of Nelson, BC, David (Mary) Miron of Lethbridge, and Sharon (David) Dudley of Magrath, and grandchildren Clint, Bryce, Josh, Kendall and Adam Dudley, as well as his aunt Kathleen Banks of Kamloops.
Ross was predeceased by his parents, Maurice and Maud Miron of Lethbridge and his brother Donald Miron of Lethbridge.
Ross was born in Lethbridge on March 10, 1929 to Maud and Maurice Miron, both of whom were born in Lethbridge to pioneering families. He was proud of his heritage. In 1950 he joined the Fox Denture Lab and worked with this firm until his retirement in 1994. He was a loving and dedicated family man with wide ranging and eclectic interests. Ross loved sailing and oil painting and he was also a life master at the local duplicate bridge club. He was an avid photographer, golfer and tennis player. A lifelong resident of Lethbridge, he will be greatly missed by family and friends.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 24, 2009 at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405 12 Avenue South, Lethbridge, Alberta.
Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
