Donna “Nanny” Miller passed away peacefully August 3, 2021, in Raymond hospital.

Donna Miller was born May 12, 1946, in Red Deer, Alberta to James and Nellie Gilleland. As a young girl her family relocated to Edmonton where she lived until adulthood. Donna, the oldest of four kids was big sister to David, Linda, and Brent. Donna married John Miller in November 1972 and she was a devoted mother to their three children: Taja, Brett, and Senta, and later to her Grandson Daxson. 

Donna worked at Chatters Hair Salon in the Park Place Mall for 19 years.  Many would come to know and love her for her trademark colourful hair, giving nature, and her ready smile. She was a Christian who lived her faith every single day, gently sharing God’s love through her light and kindness. Please join us in honouring Donna as we celebrate the wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend she was.

A Celebration of Donna’s beautiful spirit will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, August 20, 2021, at the MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta, with Pastor John Moerman, officiating.

Cremation entrusted to Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels.
