Brendon McQuaid of Lethbridge passed away suddenly at Chinook Regional Hospital on March 15, 2016 at the age of 25 years.

Brendon was born in Kitchener, Ontario to his loving parents, Louis and Valerie McQuaid. He dedicated his life to helping those suffering from illness and was on his way to becoming an RN at the University of Lethbridge. He loved working side by side with his Dad framing houses, playing in the Taiko drumming group HIBIKIYA with his mom brothers and friends, writing songs and playing guitar with his sister, baking with his grandma, and bike riding and swimming with his daughter. He was a dedicated father, and a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend. He was a kind and gentle soul that could bring a smile and a feeling of warmth and comfort to everyone he came in contact with.

He is survived by his daughter Rosalind, his parents, Valerie and Louis, his sister Alyssa and her husband Drew, his brothers, Kelly and Corey and his grandmother, Clara.

He is predeceased by his sister Jana.

Vigil Rites (Prayers) will be held at 7:00pm on Monday, March 21, 2016 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge, led by Francis and Cybele Noronha.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at ST. BASIL’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604 13th Street North, Lethbridge, with Father Kevin Tumback celebrant.
