BARBARA DARLING McNABB (nee Giles) suddenly passed away on Friday, October 12, 2007 at the age of 56 years.

Barb leaves to cherish her memory, son Cory (Ashley Dominato); daughter Crystal (Danny Bjerke); precious granddaughter Sydney Patricia; brothers Howard (June) Giles; Dale (Pat) Giles; sister Beryl (John) Macsymic; step-brothers Lanny (Claire) Macsymic, Terry (Judy) Macsymic and Sandy (Robby-lee) Macsymic; step-mother Kaye Giles; step-sister Anne Macsymic; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Barb was born on December 16, 1950 in Prince Albert, SK where she was raised and married Doug in 1970. Soon thereafter, Barb and Doug moved to Lac La Ronge, SK where she worked for The Hudson Bay Company. In 1975 they moved to Coalhurst, AB and she continued bookkeeping at Palliser Distillers. Five years later Barb and Doug started their own company ABC Refrigeration and Air Conditioning where she dedicated long hours and hard work while raising her children Cory and Crystal. Barb's door was always open and welcome to all family and friends who came to visit.

Barb was predeceased by her husband Doug, the love of her life, in August 2007, her infant daughter Joanna Darling and her parents, Arnold and Bernice Giles.

A Visitation will be held from 7:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4th St. S.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, October 19, 2007 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4th St. S., Lethbridge, AB, with Reverend Heather McNabb Wyatt officiating.
