June Matkin

1935 ~ 2018

It is with a deep feeling of sadness and sorrow that we share the passing of the heart and soul and the rock of our family. June passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 21st with her children by her side.

She is survived by son Jim; daughters Kathy (Chris), and Sharla (George); grandchildren Isaac, Abi, Maiya, Elijah, Rain, Carmen (Nick), Laura, Mark and Michael; great-grandchildren Alexandra and Griffin; as well as her brother Jim Freel; and also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Jim and Ethel Freel; sons John and Michael; and also one brother and three sisters. There will be no funeral at her request.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date. The latter is up to her family. Not the funeral.
