It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Huibertje Adriana Mans of Picture Butte, beloved wife of the late Mr. Johannes Mans, passed away at Bethesda Care Home on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at the age of 94 years.

Huibertje was born in Rijswijk, the Netherlands, on January 2, 1927. Together with her family, she immigrated to Canada in 1982 and settled in Nobleford area where she and her family farmed until their retirement in 2014.

She is survived by her children Andries (Coby) Mans, Anneke (Henk) Van Ginkel, Arjan (Joanne) Mans, Joost (Caroline) Mans, Henk (Rita) Mans, Toos (Harry) Vandenberg, and Els (Ed) Van Hierden; 39 grandchildren; 74 great grandchildren; one brother, and 2 sisters.

Huibertje was predeceased in 2019 by her loving husband of 65 years; her sister, numerous brothers, and in laws.

Due to current health restrictions, a private family Graveside Service will be held at the Memorial Cemetery of Picture Butte.

A special thanks to the staff at the Bethesda Care Home for the loving and supportive care they gave to our mother.
