Official Obituary of

6/10/1930 - to - 3/9/2007

October 6, 1930 ~ September 3, 2007

It is with great sadness that we, the family of Margaret ""Marge"" Hannah Malcomson, beloved wife of William Jack Malcomson of 58 years, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 3, 2007 at the St. Michael's Care Unit Lethbridge, Alberta.

Marge was born on October 6, 1930 to Evelyn (Moore) and William Hanlin Crombie in Lethbridge, Alberta. She completed her schooling in Lethbridge. After finishing school Marge met Bill at the Roller Barn roller skating (a sure athlete) and they were married September 19, 1948 in Red Deer, Alberta. They returned to Lethbridge to start their life together. Marge worked at all bowling centers in Lethbridge, Glendale Bowl, Capri Lanes and finally Holiday Bowl retiring in 1992. You could find her at the lanes at anytime coaching or working. She was a life time member of the Lethbridge 5 Pin Bowlers Association, manager of the open and youth challenge events and YBC events following her boys and grandkids. Marge could converse with almost anyone talking about all her experiences and stories. Marge had lots and lots to tell. All of you who know Marge needed a few minutes to listen.

Marge is survived by four sons (her boys) Ken (Shirley) of Medicine Hat, AB, Bob (Gail), Jim (Noelle) and Will (Adele) all of Lethbridge, AB; daughter Linda (Bryce) of Ladysmith British Columbia. She is also survived by her pride and joy, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Kara (Kyle), Nicole (Adam and Jane), Kristy and Damien (Jordan and Austin), Charity, Misty, Mathew, Kylie and Matt, Ashley, Kendra and Joel. Also Myra mother of Nicole and Kendra and Cece mother of Ashley and Joel, her sister Bernice Ridley and brother Les Crombie and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Evelyn and William Crombie, sister Monica LeStrange and brother George Crombie.

Marge was especially proud of her family. Family meant a great deal to her and she followed them bowling, camping, waterskiing, winter skiing, house boating and family functions. Marge loved people. We loved you too Marge. Rest in Peace.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00PM on Friday, September 7, 2007 at MARTIN BROS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge.
