7/12/1977 - to - 27/6/2009

DECEMBER 7, 1977 - JUNE 27, 2009

Lyle was born at the Holy Cross Hospital in Calgary, Alberta, In 1981 Lyle moved to Lethbridge with his parents and younger brother and sister. He attended LCI and Allan Watson high schools and for most of his youth lived in the London Road area with his family. He moved to Vancouver for a few years and was welcomed back to the Lethbridge area in 2007. At the time of his passing Lyle was living with his common law wife Lyndsy and their daughter Natoshia in Magrath, Alberta.

Lyle is survived by his children Nicholas (Amy) of Edmonton, Kayley Gillian (Diane) of Vancouver; the love of his life Lyndsy and their daughter Natoshia of Magrath; his loving parents Gillian and KP Capewell of Shaughnessy; brother Keith (daughter Keauna); sister Tanya (son David); Grandma Madge of Calgary; Grandpa Tom of Victoria; his favorite Grammie Audrey Skiba; step-mom Donna Mantler Madge; step-sisters Roxanne (Dave, children Brock and Quinn) Fontaine, DJ Mantler; Auntie Chris (George) Dunn of Airdrie; Uncle Ian (MJ) Addinall; uncles Doug (Ruth) Madge of B.C., Gord (Patti) Madge of Calgary, as well as numerous cousins. Being from a blended family with both biological parents being remarried, Lyle had many more relatives too numerous to list without missing one; so please know that you are included.

Lyle loved life and lived it to the fullest. Although he could be a handful at times during his youth, he was a very loving and caring person. He loved sports, especially hockey, dirt biking, and driving fast cars. Lyle also loved his community; those green recycle bins in shopping malls were an idea Lyle put forth to Mayor Carpenter.

Lyle was predeceased by his Granny Addinall in 1974; Grandpa Capewell in 1986; sister Kelly Patricia Capewell in 1991; Grandpa Skiba in 1999; Grandpa M Madge in 2006; and most recently by his dad Randy Madge in 2008.

Lyle died suddenly on Saturday, June 27, 2009 as a result of a crime of cowardly violence.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, on Saturday, July 4, 2009, at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 St., S., Lethbridge, Alberta.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm, on Monday, July 6, 2009, at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHPAEL, 610 - 4 St., S., Lethbridge, Alberta. Interment will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.
