It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother, MRS. EMMA LENGYEL, at the age of 76 years, the beloved wife of the late Mr. Leslie Lengyel. Emma passed away with her family at her side, Friday, January 13, 2012 in Lethbridge Regional Hospital.

Emma leaves to cherish her memory her dear sister Mary Orosz of Lethbridge; her four sons Garry, Glenn (Linda) and Rodney all of Coaldale and Richard (Traci) of Lethbridge; four grandchildren Dalyce, Richard, Caley, and Kendyl; sister-in-law Marion Orosz of Lethbridge, Helen Lengyel of Rolling Hills, AB, Barbara (Ken) McRea of Lethbridge; in-laws Glen and Carolyn Payne of Coaldale; Phyllis Robert of Lethbridge; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws in Alberta and British Columbia.

Emma was predeceased by her loving husband Leslie Lengyel; parents Nick and Elizabeth Orosz; father-in-law and mother-in-law Frank and Elizabeth Lengyel; brother Steve Orosz; six brother-in-laws Julius, John and Frank Lengyel, Martin Wieland, John Bulova and Alex Kish; two sisters-in-law Elizabeth Kish, Helen Wieland; and two nephews.

Emma was born on December 5, 1935 in Lethbridge, AB to parents Nick and Elizabeth Orosz. Emma was educated in Lethbridge, AB. Emma met and married the love of her life Leslie Lengyel on February 17, 1955. They moved to the family farm to raise four sons, where she lived until her recent passing. Emma was a city girl who loved the farm life style and all it had to offer. She was a ""Jack of All Trades"" and a master of them all, cooking, gardening, truck driving, calving cows, she did it all! Leslie and Emma spent 44 years of wonderful marriage together where they raised their family in good times and bad. Everyone who knew our mother knew what kind of a special lady she was. She will be greatly missed by all, but never ever forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 7:00pm and 8:00pm on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, January 20, 2012 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, with Reverend Larry D. Hankinson officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Coaldale Health Centre, 2100 11 St Coaldale, AB T1M 1L2.
