Teresita was born in the Philippines and moved to Canada in 1972. She resided in Lethbridge, where she worked and raised her family. Teresita loved her family very much; they meant everything to her. She would ask her daughter about her grandchildren and son-in-law everyday – always wanting to know how and where they were.
Teresita was extraordinarily kind and caring; she enjoyed taking care of people and was always willing to help anyone in need. She was exceptionally welcoming and generous, with her home open to family and friends all the time. She loved having company, get togethers, BBQs, and picnics. She was always cooking, offering food, and making sure that no one left without a full stomach.
Teresita enjoyed baking delicious, beautifully decorated layered cakes, she also made the best donuts and apple pies. Some of her other favorite hobbies included playing bingo, crocheting, word searches, and watching movies. She also liked painting, coloring, and manicuring her nails. She had fun going for rides to site see, especially around Henderson Lake to watch the geese.
Teresita was very cheerful and happy all the time. She was unbelievably strong and resilient – always remaining positive, no matter what life sent her way. She was a truly remarkable soul who lit up every room she entered, and whose warmth touched so many hearts along the way. She will be remembered dearly and forever missed by family and friends.
Teresita is survived by her daughter Jessica Wilson, Son-in-Law Jeremy Wilson and her grandchildren Shinnea and Rylen.
