Amanda Lange

Official Obituary of

9/1/1986 - to - 29/8/2024

Ms. Amanda Andrea Lange of Nobleford, beloved daughter of Nancy Livingston, passed away after a lengthy illness at St. Michael’s Health Centre on August 29, 2024, at the age of 38 years.

Amanda Lange, from Nobleford, AB is survived by her children Luka, Nixon, Vivian, Teany and Siannon Lange. Her mother Nancy Livingston and stepfather Brett Livingston as well as her beloved Oma & Opa, Ellen and Alfred Lange and her brother's Jake Lange (Elias, Micah & Luna) and Karsten Lange as well as many loving extended family members including her Aunty Drea.

Amanda's first love was her children, always.  She successfully started a small business to care for her family while supplementing that with retail.  Amanda loved to paint; she proudly has some of her work in local gift stores in Kelowna and some of her paintings are now displayed as far as Mexico.  She loved to garden and made a cancer garden in our back yard so that each spring when her flowers bloom, we will remember that she isn't far from us.   Amanda was gifted with creativity; she enjoyed making beaded bracelets, mobiles, and recycling from second hand stores to make just about anything interesting for display in her home and yard.

Amanda will be deeply missed by her friends & family.  She was a shining light in everyone's heart.  She was a free spirit that now soars above us all.

Amanda fought a very brave and hard fight against cancer for 5 years.  She was a warrior and a pioneer in cancer research.  Due to her braveness to partake in research treatment she was able to survive longer than 2 years than anticipated giving hope to future treatment.

"Depth of Life, Not Length” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

She came to us in a winters' wind and left us with a summers' breeze.

She filled out hearts with love so bright; and went to sleep with the sunsets' light.

A Celebration of Amanda’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on September 7, 2024, at NOBLEFORD CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 522 HIGHWAY AVE, Nobleford.

Flowers are gratefully declined. To those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Alberta Mental Health Association, Chinook Regional Hospital info@crhfoundation.ca, or the Canadian Cancer Society https://cancer.ca.
