BRIAN DIRK KREFT

1980 ~ 2017

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Brian Dirk Kreft at the age of 36 years old, in a tragic motorcycle accident early Sunday, April 30, 2017.

Left to mourn his passing are his wife Darlene and dear children, Brody and Kylie; loving parents Tony and Nellie; sister Sharlene (Tyler) Nystrom, Kodah, Jazlie, Raedyn, Jakmen and Casper; Oma Jannigje Kreft and Oma Gery Grisnich as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Also mourning his passing are mother-in-law Ann Gierulski, sister-in-law’s Aurelie (Joe) Manio; Nicole (Chris) Housley and their children Mason and Autumn. He will be greatly missed by his many friends, employees and acquaintances.

He was predeceased by his Opa Dirk Kreft and Opa Cornelius Grisnich; father-in-law Lyle Gierulski; aunt Margaret Slingerland; uncle Richard Kreft and cousin Adrian Kreft.

Brian was born on October 15,1980 and spent his childhood on the family farm before making welding his chosen profession. He owned and operated Aztec Steel Fabricators at the time of his passing.

A Funeral Service will take place at 1:30pm on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the NETHERLANDS REFORMED CONGREGATION, Highway 3 & RR21-1 (Howe Road), Reverend A.A. Brugge officiating. Interment will take place in the Mountain View Cemetery.
