Ms. Vera Helen Koppenstein passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at the age of 87 years.

Vera grew up on farms in the Irvine and Taber area. She tried many professions; secretarial, nursing, nursing instructor and finally she found that her calling was “Farming”. She started farming with her dad and continued until her passing. She was recognized in the area as a conscientious farmer. She stayed up to date on farming practices and was always watchful of the weather.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all those who took great care of Vera thru the last few years and her final days.

Vera is survived by her sister, Ida; nephew, Val; niece Linda; 5 grandnieces and 1 grandnephew; 2 great-grand nieces and 1 great-grand nephew.

She was predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Melita.

A Private family service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2020 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, with Reverend Eva Stanley, officiating.
