Gwen Klone, beloved wife of the Late Eddie Klone, of Lethbridge, Alberta, passed away peacefully with three generations by her side on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at the age of 78 years. 

Gwen was born to Loyal and Catherine Turner on September 3, 1944. She grew up in Barons, Alberta, with her older sister Dee, and her twin brother Glen. Gwen married Ed and they spent forty-six wonderful years together, from owning the trucking company and the farm in Barons, to the campground in Faust, to the many winters together in Arizona. Along the way, they met so many life long friends. 

Gwen had a zest for life. She was a firecracker who was witty and quirky. Gwen adored her family, and was the best mom and nana any kid could ask for. 

Gwen will be dearly missed by her children, Mark Anderson, and Sue (Shane) Sherman; Ed's children, Kim (John) Kenna, and Cam (Allen) Klone; grandchildren, Amanda Passmore, Brett Anderson, Morgan (Kevin) Asplund, Ashley (Brett) Lenzen, Aimee (Steven) Sherman, and Riley Sherman; great-granchildren, Zorianna, Abigail, Allister, Nevayah, Jax and Lennon. She is also survived by her sister Dee (Wallie) Ryrie, brother Glen (Betty-Anne) Turner, sisters-in-law, Doreen Klone, Marlene (Gordon) Smith and Marjorie Brown; brothers-in-law, Jim (Lea) Klone, and Dennis (Jay) Klone; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many other family and wonderful friends. 

Besides her loving husband Eddie, Gwen was predeceased by her son Dean Anderson, brothers-in-law Norman Klone and Robert Brown; parents, Loyal and Catherine Turner; parents-in-law, Ethel and August Klone; as well as many furry four-legged friends from over the years. 

A Visitation will be held at 10:00 am, on Friday, October 28, 2022 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 28, 2022 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta, with Reverend Glenda Wert, officiating.

A private family Graveside Service will be held at the Carmangay Cemetery.
