MR. KORNELIUS FRANZ KLASSEN of Coaldale, beloved husband of Mrs. Margaret Klassen, passed away at the Coaldale Health Centre on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the age of 91 years.

Kornelius was born to Franz & Susanna (Warkentin) on April 14, 1919; that same day his mother passed away. Franz then married Katharina Penner, mother to Kornelius until her passing on March 18, 1974.

Kornelius, known as Korney to those that knew him, passed away peacefully at the Coaldale Health Centre, with his loving family at his side. We extend our ""deepest gratitude"" to all the employees at the Health Centre. The care that was given to our Pap & Opa, was unsurpassable. It was a huge comfort to know that he was in such loving care. We are especially grateful to Helena Guenther who drove Mom to the hospital every week.

Korney was a kind, gentle & loving Pap & Opa, always giving of himself, never asking anything in return. He was a very strong, hard-working man, even until his last hours. He will forever be remembered for his twinkling eyes, great smile and selfless manner.

Korney will be sadly missed by his wife, Margaret Klassen (nee Neufeld); son Frank Klassen, Jeff & Bryan Klassen (Tannis McCubbin); son Heinz Klassen (Amber Langworthy) Travis, Dillon, Brady & Shaun Klassen (Christine Foxall) Dallas, Troy & Candace Langworthy; daughter Elsie Anctil (Mike Axworthy) Amber Anctil (Cody Ferguson, Aidan & Noah Anctil-Ferguson); Lindsay & Aaron Anctil (Daylynn & Carter Hanna); Ted Anctil, Corrine Klassen (nee Bogusky) , Myrna Klassen (nee Allert), as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 6:30 - 8:00 pm on Friday, March 25, 2011 at the COALDALE MENNONITE CHURCH, 2316 17 St, Coaldale.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the COALDALE MENNONITE CHURCH. Interment will follow in the Coaldale Cemetery.
