MARGARET DOROTHEA KITCHEN of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late J.H. ""Jack"" Lightbound, and in later years Stan Kitchen of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at the age of 99 years.

Margaret was born in Lethbridge on May 8, 1908 the 8th child of Dennis and Anna McCormack. She graduated from Holy Cross School of Nursing in Calgary in 1929. She married Jack Lightbound in 1930 and had a daughter Rita. She resumed her nursing career in 1943 and continued to work until retiring at the age of 65. Later, after being widowed in 1977 she married Stan Kitchen in Calgary in 1980 but was widowed 3 years later and moved back to Lethbridge.

She is survived by her daughter Rita; grandsons Terry (Leslie), Jeff (Jean), Robert (Joanne) and David; grandchildren Scott, Paul, Eric, Lauren and Jordyn of Calgary and Brooks; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM, on Monday, December 31, 2007 at ST. BASIL'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604 - 13 Street North, Lethbridge, with Father Raul Hernandez, celebrant.
