Mrs. Ida Kammerer of Coaldale, beloved wife of the late Wilhelm Kammerer, passed away at St. Michaels Palliative Care Centre on Monday April 4, 2016 at the age of 92 years.

Ida was born on February 16, 1924 in Josephstahl, Ukraine. She is survived by her son Leo (Dina); daughters Monica (Andy) Mulder, Helga (Barry) Biggers, Debra ( Rick) Otrhalek; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters Helene Roman, Olga Geworsky and families.

Ida is predeceased by her loving husband Wilhelm; parents Gotlieb & Emilie Look; 2 infant brothers; sister Frieda Hass and 3 brother-in-laws.

Ida dedicated the majority of her life to raising her family and managing her home. She was an amazing, strong woman who had a true determination and a fierce sense of independence and a clear mind right to the end. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and friends.

A Funeral Service for family and friends will be held at 11:00AM on Friday April 8, 2016 MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4 Street. S., Lethbridge, AB, with Folker Stanke, officiating.
