MR. WILHELM ""BILL"" KAMMERER of Coaldale, beloved husband of Mrs. Ida Kammerer, passed away at the Coaldale Health Centre on Friday, February 4, 2011 at the age of 88 years.
Wilhelm was born on October 27, 1922 in Nicholyev, Ukraine.
He is survived by his beloved wife Ida, his son Leo (Carmen), daughters; Monica (Andy) Mulder, Helga (Barry) Biggers, Debra (Rick) Otrhalek, 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Wilhelm was loved by everyone. He was always friendly and was an avid gardener and fisherman. He was a talented musician who loved playing foot-stomping music. He retired from the Lethbridge Research Station in 1987. He will be sadly missed by his loving family.
Family and friends may pay their respects from 3:00 to 5:00 pm on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at the REDEEMER LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2006 - 20th Street, Coaldale, with Mr. Folker Stanke, officiating.
Interment at Coaldale Cemetery, Coaldale, Alberta.
