It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ronald “Ron” Jessup announce his sudden passing at home in Victoria, BC on November 19, 2020 at the age of 49.

Ron has been predeceased by his mother, Sandra Jessup (Butts), and survived by his only son Jake Jessup of Lethbridge, Alberta, younger brother Kevin (Sujana) and niece Callie Jessup of Monroe, Georgia, and father Harold (Donna) Jessup of Lindsay, Ontario.

Ron was born in Sudbury, Ontario on December 31, 1970, the oldest of two sons born to Harold and the late Sandra Jessup.

After graduating with honors from Laurentian University, Ron Launched a 22-year career with Frito-Lay in both Ontario and Alberta, before accepting a position with Maximus Canada in Victoria, British Columbia.  Revered for his managerial instincts and praised for his ability to lead with empathy and compassion, Ron was a brilliant man and his talents will be greatly missed.

In his personal time, Ron was a fan of live music and sports, particularly golf, passions that have been imparted upon his son Jake – to whom he shared with Brenda Borg- and anyone else that would surrender to his infectious smile.  His adventurous spirit and zest for life will live on through his loved ones. He shall never be forgotten.

Due to the restrictions surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, a memorial will be held at a later date in Ontario.
