MRS. ALICE EUPHEMIA JENSEN of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Lind Jensen, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 27, 2007 at the age of 93 years.

Alice was born on December 5, 1913 in Warner, AB and married Lind Jensen on October 7, 1938. Together they farmed in the Foremost area later moving to the Readymade area where they farmed and raised their sons, until 1971 when they retired and moved to Lethbridge. Alice was a long time member of various service clubs in the Coaldale and Readymade areas and also did volunteer work with the church and the hospital.

Alice is survived by her two sons Gary (Faye) of Red Deer and Kirk of Lac La Biche; grandchildren David (Kerri-Lynn), Christie, Erin and Kerry and great-granddaughter Breanna all of Calgary; sisters Hap Kuehn, Benny Doram and Caroline Hamilton; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Besides her loving husband Lind, Alice was predeceased by her parents John and Mary, eldest son Dwight, brothers John and Edward Lonsdale and sisters Edith May Orcutt and Patricia Opitz.

Family and Friends are invited to pay their respects between 7PM and 8PM on Monday, October 1, 2007 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4th St. S., Lethbridge, AB.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1PM on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at the FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, 1614-5th Ave. S., Lethbridge, AB, with Dr. Bruce Martin, officiating. Interment to follow in Archmount Cemetery.

Alice's family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
