Erin Houston of Lethbridge, Alberta, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025, with her family by her side. She is the beloved wife of Brian Moser and cherished mother to Mackenzie Moser, Aidan Moser (Marcela), and Kale Moser. Erin is also survived by her sister, Sian (Blair) Houston, and Ashleigh Brown.

Born in Belfast, Ireland, on October 22, 1968, to James and Dorothy Houston, Erin immigrated to Canada with her family in 1971. After graduating from LCI, she pursued her education at the University of Alberta and the University of Lethbridge, earning degrees in both Science (B.Sc.) and Education (B.Ed.). Erin was a devoted mother, wife, teacher, coach, and friend. She played many sports, including soccer, water polo, track and field, and was a competitive swimmer. Her love of sport carried into her sons’ lives, as she enthusiastically followed them to hockey games, baseball games, and curling tournaments. Her warmth, generosity, and kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Erin had a remarkable gift for bringing people together and making them feel seen and valued.

A passionate traveler, Erin lived in New Zealand and worked in Australia, Turkey, and Greece. She also explored France, Italy, Spain, Fiji, the UK, and most of North America. Of all her adventures, Waterton held a special place in her heart—a place where she found joy in kayaking, hiking, and soaking in the beauty of nature. Erin embraced life’s simple pleasures: a good book, time spent in nature, yoga, and quiet reflection. She shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Ruby, who was her constant companion on walks and in peaceful moments.

In her 56 years, Erin lived with a vitality and purpose that most don’t achieve in a century. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering integrity.

She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at ST. AUGUSTINES ANGLICAN CHURCH, 411 - 11 St S, LETHBRIDGE, AB
