CHARLES ""ARNOLD"" HOLLIHAN passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at Prairie Rose Lodge at the age of 75 years.

Arnold was born in Lethbridge on December 23, 1931 the second son of Jim and Inez Hollihan of Foremost and was raised in the Goddard district on a mixed farm. He attended school at Kings Lake, a country school one mile from the farm.

Arnold, always a hard worker, ran Writing on Stone Grazing and Pinhorn Grazing Community Pastures for many years, always taking an active part in rodeos, roping and training horses, showing his deep love of animals, the outdoors and nature. Upon moving to Milk River he worked at various farms and built fences, while raising his three children, retiring at about age 65.

Recently ill health forced him to make a move into the Prairie Rose Lodge where he was very well cared for and was happy to be a resident.

He is survived by his three loving children, two sons Paul of Calgary, Ryan of Brookside Estates, AB and beloved daughter Serena Hollihan of Milk River and the children's mother Patricia Erickson of Milk River. He is also survived by his sisters Bernice Losey of Milk River, Dorothy Kienzle of Pierceiand, SK, Della Walsh of Foremost and Doris Gorden of High River; one brother Raymond of Coaldale; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as mother-in-law Pat Erickson, brother-in-law Jim Erickson and family all of Coutts, AB and sister-in-law Nancy Hesla of Anchorage, Alaska. He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers Orval and Richard.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at the ST. PAUL'S UNITED CHURCH, 201 - 2 Ave NE, Milk River.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
