1944 ~ 2013

Grace Ellen Hart (Kilbreath) of Lethbridge, Alberta beloved wife of Thomas Hart passed away peacefully December 24, 2013 at the age of 69 years.

Grace was born in Saskatchewan and spent most of her childhood living in Uranium City. Grace, along with her young family, settled and lived many years in Calgary Alberta. Grace started working for Tupperware and she became the youngest manager in Canada at the age of 23. Grace was awarded for her achievements with new cars, rings, cruises, television and saved enough to purchase a little bungalow in Calgary. After she reached all her goals in Tupperware, Grace decided to further her education at Mount Royal College, where she majored in English and loved learning French and Spanish as well. Having an entrepreneurial spirit she helped start and manage McLeay Geological Consultants, then Special Touch Event Planning and later Clarke Bookkeeping. Grace and Tom met and fell in love. They had a beautiful Cinderella wedding followed by a dream honeymoon in England. Once the Hart's retired they followed her daughter Joanne to Lethbridge and have made it their home since. Grace shared a hobby in 'miniatures' with Joanne and her granddaughter Kristy. They travelled to conventions and made many tiny things in the M.E.E.T. club of Lethbridge. She was very active with the Newcomers Club and enjoyed socializing with all the new people who just moved to Lethbridge. Grace enjoyed quilting, making many large ones for the family over the years and even a mini one for Joanne. Grace enjoyed the performing arts, travelling around the world and had a talent for writing poetry. She was very fond Christmas and loved to give gifts, she was always very generous. Grace Hart is survived by her loving husband Tomas F. Hart, and the treasures of her heart and life her daughter Joanne McLeay (James Butler) and son Rodger McLeay; her Grandchildren Devin Linnington (Lauri), Dustin Linnington, and Kristy Linnington and great grandson Shayden Linnington; her brother Len Kilbreath (Joyce) and sisters Cathie Harkness (Bob) and Elaine Gallacher (Don) and cousin Sharri Smith who was like a sister. She was loved by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and their families.
