FREDRICK “FRED” GINTHER
1961 ~ 2017
Fredrick John Ginther of Lethbridge, Alberta passed away peacefully at home on July 11, 2017 at the age of 56 years.
Born April 20, 1961 in Drumheller, Alberta, he was the son of Sidney Perry Ginther and Corinne Fay Ginther (Fuller).
Fred attended high school in Coleman, Alberta, and later graduated from Lethbridge Community College with a Civil Engineering Degree. He worked many different jobs but stayed with South Rock for many years. Aecon Inc. purchased South Rock and Fred remained a Project Manager until he was unable to work anymore.
When he was not working he enjoyed many trips scuba diving in Mexico, Belize, Cuba, and Dominican. He also enjoyed riding his Harley and attending bike rallies when able to. He enjoyed his grandchildren the most and spoiled them with love and many great gifts.
He is survived by his girlfriend Lynn Chenier, his children; one daughter; Brittany Moser and husband Reed Moser, one son Brent Ginther and wife Mackenzie Ginther. His grandchildren Daelan Ginther, Nixon Ginther, Ari Ginther, and Lucy Moser.
He is also survived by his one sister Rena Tschirren and husband Dean Tschirren; one brother Jim Ginther.
Fred was predeceased by his parents Sidney Ginther and Corinne Ginther, sister Valerie Schultz.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday August 12, 2017 at MARTIN BROTHERS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 610 – 4th Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta, followed by a celebration of life reception at the Royal Canadian Legion.
