Gladys Gill-Dunn
Official Obituary of
Error: #VALUE!
GLADYS KATHLEEN DUNN of Lethbridge, beloved mother of Mark, Chad and Lisa, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at the age of 74 years.
Gladys was an extraordinary woman of strong character, quiet resolve, and dignified demeanor.
Gladys was born in the town of New Liskeard, ON. She is survived by two elder sisters Jean and Connie and a younger brother Delmer.
Gladys' parents, both also of New Liskeard, raised their five daughters and son with great pride, laboring to make certain that each of their children were well defined in the manner that they would set forth on their life journeys.
Hearts heavy, and with unfeigned remorse for the loss of one of the dearest people that will only be seen as a remarkably kind soul, cannot be set at ease; not merely the loving memories of family and friends, but a sincere, if not floundering attempt, to reach out to a place that cannot be touched by words.
Gladys is survived by her daughter Lisa Hannah Laura Gill; sons Mark Jason and Chad David; grandchildren Jesse, Brandi-Lea, Cheantel, Reed, Tighe, Anna, and Stephen; great-grandson Owen; sisters Jean Norley and Connie Chalmers; brother Delmer Dunn; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
Gladys was predeceased by her parents Lorne and Hannah Dunn and sisters Helen Lott andFlorence Ferguson.
Gladys will find the site of her home town as her final place of rest; this coming spring, there will be a formal ceremony, celebrating the lives of both Gladys and her dear sister, Florence.
