KENNETH GRANT FURGASON, beloved husband of Barbara Furgason, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the age of 77 years.
Dad was born in Edmonton and raised in Stirling and Lethbridge. He attended school in Lethbridge. It was in Lethbridge that he also was well known for his pitching ability.

He served his mission for the LDS Church in South Africa where he made many lifelong friends. In 1959 he married Barbara Metcalfe and began a beautiful 53 year union. Dad started his career in sales at Fred King Motors. He also sold mobile homes, holiday trailers, lawn equipment, cattle, horses, fine European Autos, and many of Mom's favorite cars.

He served enthusiastically in many church callings and will be remembered for his knowledge and his care for others. Dad loved horses, cars, sales, new business ventures and baseball. He loved his church, his family and his friends.

Besides his loving wife Barbara, Ken is survived by his daughter Connie (Terry) Waddle of Calgary, and their children Sarah (Ryan) Trew and their sons Griffin and Sullivan, Elizabeth, Amanda (Bob Tottle) and Matthew; son Glen (Cheri Roberts) Furgason and children Brianna Furgason, Meagan Roberts, and Mackenzie Roberts; son Grodon Furgason; daughter Kelly-Rae; son Douglas (Tammy) Furgason and their child Kaitlyn; sisters Lucille Clossen, Norma Duncan and brother Daniel Furgason.

Ken was predeceased by his parents Murray and Sarah, his sisters Joliene and Eva and his grandson Michael.

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00pm on Friday, June 8, 2012 at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS, 2410 - 28 Street South, Lethbridge, President Jesse Wilde conducting.
