MICHAEL WADE EHST, beloved son of David and Susan Ehst, and brother to Deanna, Angela, Jordan, Kenton, and Lyndon passed away suddenly in Coaldale on Monday, April 5, 2010, at the age of 22 months.

Michael blessed our home with much sunshine in his short life and filled a special place in our hearts and arms as the youngest child and youngest grandchild in the family. He was also showered with love by his church friends, big and small.

He was never happier than when outside playing. The best time of day in his mind was when the boys all went to take care of the animals on the farm. He would watch the pigs, let the lamb nibble his fingers and run around exploring the wonderful outdoors. He loved to go away with Dad in the pickup whenever he could and enjoyed being involved in all that was happening.

His Mom and sisters tenderly cared for his every need. Putting on shoes and coat was a daily experience. At evening his busy little feet would patter off to get his favorite blankee and a special toy to hold. It was time to be rocked to sleep by Mom or Dad and sometimes sisters, big brother, or special Auntie Marie.

We loved him and our hearts yearn for him but we know he is safe in the arms of Jesus whose love and care is far greater than we could have given him here.

Besides his loving parents Dave and Susan Ehst, Michael is survived by his sisters; Deanna and Angela, and his brothers Jordan, Kenton and Lyndon. He will be sadly missed also by his Grandparents, Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects between 7PM and 9PM, on Friday April 9, 2010, at TABER COMMUNITY CENTRE, 50th Street and 48 Ave, Taber, AB.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11AM, on Saturday April 10, 2010, at the TABER COMMUNITY CENTRE, 50th Street and 48 Ave, Taber, AB with Bishop David Schapansky, officiating. Interment to follow in the Coaldale Mennonite Cemetery.
