MRS. MARY EARL of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. F. Dale Earl, passed away peacefully, surrounded in love and by family, on Sunday, November 9th, 2008 at the age of 91 years.

Mary is survived by her sons Dale (Alice) Earl and Anthony (Barb) Earl; daughters Gabrielle Earl and Eve (Reg) Peterson; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; sister Theresa Pittman; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Besides her beloved husband Dale, Mary was predeceased by her parents Stephano and Annie Bario and sister Lena Smith.
Mary was born on Thursday November 22, 1916 in Lethbridge, Ab. She was the middle child in a family of three daughters. Mary received her early education at St. Aloysious Convent and St. Patrick's High School in Lethbridge. She received her teaching certificate upon completion of Normal School in Calgary and embarked on a life-long teaching career. Later in life Mary completed her post secondary degrees from universities in Alberta and Utah.

Mary knew and loved the Lord; her life was an example of complete dependence on Him who provides all. She loved her family and served them with such a glad heart and willing spirit. Grandma took such delight in all of her grandchildren and she was ""especially fond"" of each one. Mary loved her flower gardens and we were all beneficiaries of her amazing green thumb. The family dogs were always welcomed into her family; they all knew who to go to for treats or snuggles.
